Jelinek's grand piano

‘What is happening here is a true resurrection’ – Elfriede Jelinek
After 30 years during which Elfriede Jelinek’s grand piano has neither been tuned nor played, it is sounding once more (3 November, Great Hall).

A special friendship between female artists

Since the 80s, the friendship between Elfriede Jelinek and Olga Neuwirth has consistently given rise to new works of art in which literature, composition and other media are fused into surprising forms (31 October, 2 & 4 November).

It doesn't get any better than this

On her website, the writer publishes “notes” that are not intended to stand the test of time. Over the course of three evenings, the audience can experience her latest writings, some of which may not yet have been published (31 October, 1 and 4 November).

These Composers of the Fragile Ground

It is hard to imagine the writer Jelinek without the musician Jelinek. Now she is finally being portrayed as a musician – in two concerts centred on works that she herself has performed to a high standard (1 & 3 November).
